On being offered a place on an Elite Music Camps (EMC) Camp a non-refundable deposit of 15% of the cost is required to secure the place. Full payment for the Camp is required 6 weeks before the start of the Camp.
-
Any cancellation must be confirmed in writing. If you cancel your booking prior to 6 weeks before the start of the Camp, then your deposit is forfeited. If your booking is cancelled less than 6 weeks before the start of the Camp, 100% of the total price is forfeited.
-
Upon initial booking it is important that you make us aware of any special circumstances, either dietary or medical, that relate to you. Whilst we endeavour to cater for everyone, sometimes it is not possible without advance notice. Sometimes it’s not possible at all. However, we can (and do) happily cater for Vegans, Vegetarians and a whole range of allergies and intolerances - so long as we know in advance.
-
You are recommended to take out personal travel insurance for the duration of your trip. This should include cancellation insurance for reasons such as redundancy, jury service or infectious disease. EMC does not accept responsibility for any cancellation or effect on your trip due to medical reasons, natural disasters, war, terrorism, industrial disputes, civil strife, adverse weather conditions or acts of God.
-
Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
-
Throughout the period of your Camp we will be taking photographs and videos for use on our website and in promotional material including that posted on social media channels including Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. We endeavour to do this responsibly and sensitively but, if you do not wish your image to be used, please let us know in writing prior to finalising your booking.
-
Tuition will be a mix of group and individual lessons and is included in the cost of the Camp.
-
Also included in the cost of the Camp is: transfer to and from Málaga Airport, accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner and all wine, beer and soft drinks while on the premises. However, when on any excursions or evening outings, guests are required to pay for their own food and beverages.
-
When booking your flights to Málaga we ask that, before you book you refer to the Acceptance letter which we will send you on receipt of your deposit. This letter will give you guidance on times etc so that you can plan your flights accordingly. This is to ensure that we can get everyone in one trip as it is a 90-minute drive to the house and more than one collection is not possible. In the event that you cannot find flights that fit with these times then there is an excellent coach service which runs from right outside the Arrivals terminal to the central bus station in Granada, where we can pick you up. In the event of taking this option, you will be liable for the cost of the coach (currently around €12pp). Details for booking can be provided on request.
-
Similarly, for the return trip, transport leaves the house at 3.00pm so we ask that you try to arrange flights after 5.00pm. Again, there is the coach option if this is not possible.
-
If you are making your own way to the house we ask that you do not arrive before 3.00pm, unless this has been agreed in advance.
-
Please note that the use of the house facilities and grounds are entirely at the user’s risk. Important notice: By booking with us at EMC, the Company's staff and agents are not liable for any loss, injury or claim of any kind arising out of staying at or travelling to or from the venue. This includes any excursions whilst on your holiday.
-
It is the responsibility of all third parties and guests to ensure the safety of their personal belongings, including (but not limited to) their instruments and equipment. EMC cannot take responsibility for any damage or loss to equipment belonging to third parties during a Camp. While we take every reasonable care to ensure the safety of equipment, sometimes things just happen.
-
It is highly unlikely, but your Camp dates may need to be changed in order to maintain client safety or well-being. This could include (but is not limited to) acts of terrorism, war, accident, infectious illness (Covid-19, for example), weather and act of God. If a Camp is cancelled as a result of a situation outside of our control, we will arrange a new date for the event. If this date is not convenient, EMC commits to refund your payment or hold it in lieu of a future Camp. Whichever you decide. We cannot, however in these circumstances be held responsible for any losses incurred by you with regard to travel or external accommodation.
-
EMC cannot be held responsible should a guest tutor decide to cancel their attendance at a Camp due to, for example, illness or incapacity. In this highly unlikely event, again we will arrange a new date for the Camp. If this date is not convenient, EMC commits to refund your balance payment or hold it in lieu of a future Camp. Whichever you decide. Again, we cannot in these circumstances be held responsible for any losses incurred by you with regard to travel or external accommodation. We work very closely with our guest tutors and are confident that, should something like this happen, it would only be in extreme circumstances and therefore be entirely out of our hands. (NB It's NEVER happened yet).
-
EMC reserves the right to change, revise or update the itinerary without prior notice. Rest assured that any changes will be made to ensure the smooth running of the Camp and will not impact negatively on your overall experience.
