In a stellar career spanning 20 years Ash has recorded 58 Top 10 albums for artists including :
Cher, Seal, Robbie Williams, Billy Idol, Adele, Enrique Iglesias, Dionne Warwick and Rumer, James Morrison, Cee Lo, Celine Dion and Ronan Keating.
His discography also includes 18 Top 10 singles, 29 No. 1 albums and 10 No. 1 singles featured on various pop and rock charts around the world.
Having begun his professional career as drummer with seminal band Del Amitri, Ash went on to record and play live with Artists like Adele, Robbie Williams, Cher, James Morrison, Seal, Trevor Horn, Nelly Furtado and many, many more.

He performed at Woodstock ‘94, supported The Rolling Stones, REM, Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Oasis and Bryan Adams at Wembley with Del Amitri. He has toured and played with Marianne Faithfull, Sinead O’Connor, Sheryl Crow, Robbie Williams, James Morrison, Will Young, Squeeze, Lewis Taylor, Hamish Stuart, The Waterboys, Jeff Lorber, Trevor Horn and Seal, Rumer, Terry Reid, Ronnie Wood, Dionne Warwick and countless more

As well as 5 series in the house band of The Voice U.K. you will also have heard him play on numerous movie soundtracks - Mission Impossible, Terminator, Lion King 2019 - and every drummer at some point has tried to tune down his/her snare drum to find that unique Ash Soan sound.
With a maximum of only 5 students on the course, tuition is tailored to suit individual needs and abilities in a safe and comfortable environment where we support and help each other to improve.

The Course
The week-long course caters for players of all styles and abilities. Whether you've been playing for years or are returning after a break, the relaxed and individually tailored approach means that you will see real progress over the course of the week.

Tuition will be a mixture of group and individual sessions and, as well as focusing on your technique, we will explore a range of skills to improve your playing and musicianship.​
​
In addition, in the evening after Dinner we can all relax and talk about whatever you like. It can be music related or not. We will also offer a range of short talks on topics such as:

​However if you'd prefer you can just relax, have a drink and ask questions in an informal environment. The house has a number of communal areas so you're free to join in or chill out somewhere else. Whatever you feel like.

There is space for non-playing partners to stay and there are plenty of places for them to explore while you are playing during the day.

Or they can just relax by the pool.....

For partners or for free time there is so much to do locally. The village of Monachil is a 10 minute walk and is a typical Andalusian village with a selection of great restaurants and bars. The house is on the route of the Los Cahorras gorge walk with its famous hanging bridges, and the historic city of Granada and the stunning Alhambra Palace are just 20 minutes away by bus from the village.
