"One of the best weeks of my life!" - Werner N
With a maximum of only 6/7 students on the course, tuition is tailored to suit individual needs and abilities in a safe and comfortable environment where we support and help each other to improve. There'll be no judgment and no competitiveness.

I want to help you to progress on your instrument in any and every way I can: but more than that, I want to help you become better musicians, getting ever more satisfaction from your musical endeavours.

I won’t be forcing you to do anything you don’t want to do and I’ll always respect your right to "pass on this one’ - although I do hope you try new things.

I'll encourage you to ask questions- no question is ‘stupid’... Ask me to go back over stuff.... Pause me while you write something down... take a video note... Whatever helps you to progress. Oh, and I'm sure we'll talk gear too.....

Rob Harris has built up an enviable track record as a consummate professional pop and funk guitarist: an active session player and sideman and also band member of some of the pop world’s biggest names.

Although he is best known as the guitarist in arguably the world’s biggest funk band Jamiroquai, he has also worked on countless sessions with artists spanning the globe, including Kylie Minogue, Take That’s Mark Owen, Gary Numan, Beverly Knight and The Pasadenas…

Rob’s playing experience is not just confined to the world of pop and funk; he is also the possessor of first-rate rock and blues chops and has played many a session and live performance with keyboard legend Don Airey (Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake, Gary Moore etc and currently with Deep Purple) alongside such players as Bernie Marsden and Uli Jon Roth. The Course
The week caters for players of all styles and abilities. Whether you've been playing for years or are returning after a break, the relaxed and individually tailored approach means that you will see real progress over the course of the week. A belief in focusing on getting the fundamentals right means that everything will be relevant to you, irrespective of your ability.

Tuition will be a mixture of group and individual sessions but there will also be plenty of opportunity to get everyone together, play some tunes and have some fun.

As well as focusing on your technique, we will explore a range of ancillary skills to improve your playing and musicianship, such as:

But if you'd prefer you can just relax, have a drink and ask questions in an informal environment. The house has a number of communal areas so you're free to join in or chill out somewhere else. Whatever you feel like.

There is space for non-playing partners to stay and there are plenty of places for them to explore while you are playing during the day.

Or they can just relax by the pool.....
